Mental health assessments

Mental health assessments are a vital step for individuals seeking professional guidance on their mental status.

These assessments are used to rule out or diagnose mental health illness, including but not limited to, post-traumatic stress disorders, stress management, sleep disorders, anxiety disorders, depression, and mood disorders.

The assessment process typically involves a detailed discussion with the patient including a medical and lifestyle history, as well as interviews with close family and friends.

A mental health assessment can provide important insights into a patient's mental health status and help guide lifestyle changes and treatment decisions, making it a critical component of mental healthcare.

Neurodivergent assessments

Neurodivergent assessments are a specialized service conducted by trained healthcare professionals to assess for and grade conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, dyslexia, and similar conditions.

The assessment process typically involves a comprehensive evaluation of the patient's cognitive and behavioural functioning, including standardized testing, interviews, and observations with both the patient and their family members.

This can provide a better understanding of the patient's strengths and challenges, allowing for more personalized educational and treatment planning and support.

Neurodivergent assessments can be a valuable tool for individuals seeking to understand their unique neurological profile and improve their overall well-being.

Weight Management

Not being at your optimal weight has long lasting effects on your everyday routine.

Often, there are underlying medical and mental causes contributing to one not reaching or maintaining a healthy weight range.

This service is typically provided by healthcare professionals who are trained to provide personalized guidance and support to individuals seeking to make long term lifestyle changes and to reverse underlying medical conditions.

This process typically involves a comprehensive assessment of the patient's health, lifestyle, and dietary habits, followed by the development of a customized lifestyle plan that may include prescribed treatments.

Counselling

We provide individuals with a relaxed, destigmatised informal environment in which to receive general counselling.

This service is typically conducted in an environment, where individuals can feel comfortable and at ease whilst catching up with their counsellor and enjoying a nice beverage.

Sessions are designed to be more conversational and less formal than traditional therapy sessions, allowing patients to feel more connected to their counsellor.

This type of counselling can be particularly helpful for individuals who may feel intimidated by the traditional therapy setting or who prefer a less structured approach to counselling.
